The 60’s were the best times for book design.
Designers like Paco Rabanne, Couréges or Mary Quant created a new look. Art director’s Harper’s Bazaar and ELLE were precursors to the post coutures towards ready-to-wear.
At this AGI meeting in Porto, I will attempt to demonstrate the differences between then and now, between working with a team, and working alone. I will expose 4 projects that I’m currently working on: The color of my skin, Canal Street, Art flamingo and Conservation of the French Coast, particularly dealing with lighthouses.
